My Miracle and Making Awareness

October is the month in Boston that makes Awareness for Cancer. So I have partner with Making Strides Against Breast Cancer its an Organization that helps people with Cancer, Research, Support, Access to Mammograms and of course Awareness, how to check ourselves as for a lump on our breast. Each year we do a 5 Mile walk and you get to donate $20 or 25 and you get a T-shirt plus goodies bag. Its Fun you get to walk by the Charles River which the scene is very therapeutic, enjoyable with friends and love ones, give back, wear PINK from head to toes, also meet new peeps and Survivors like ME. Yes! I am a Cancer Survivor by God grace. You might be saying. How? Why? ......When I knew it was like 11 to 12 years ago it was Breast Cancer.

But after 5 to 6 years I found out again that I had cancer this time was (part of an organ in my body) and was treated  like for a year and a half. After that I had to make a decision to start Chemo or never have children again. To make this story/miracle short of all that time in that journey. I remember that I went to pray on a Wednesday and I remember that I prayed like never before, like it was my last day on this earth. On a Friday I had to make a decision what of the two options I wanted to take but instead that Friday I received a letter by mail of my Doctor stating that everything was normal that everything was okay. Plus it came with signature and name and I was WHAT? so i called My Doctor office  and she was what ? read it? Are you sure? its maybe a mistake and I was IDK so on a Monday early I was on her office/hospital and she saw the letter than check me and the Doctor kept saying I don't see anything. By God love and healing power I was healed. Praise God !!!God is GOOD! It has been a journey after that because my immune system took a toll on food, medicine " meaning I came allergic" but I can live with that because on God time I will be healed.

For those who are struggling and battling NEVER loose your faith. Good days, bad days comes but God has the last word. So ladies when you get invited to an Awareness of any kind that has to do with health Go! Its better to be aware, to prevent it. Trust me doctors and medicine helps but at this moment there is a no cure  for cancer only God can cure you. You don't have to be religious to be cure just believe have faith and have God in your heart accept Him as your Lord and Savior and He will heal you if you just believe and have Faith like I did. Sure it was not easy for me and did lost lots of friends from cancer but I kept going forward and never did say why me?? So NEVER loose your Hope sprinkle it with some Faith because MIRACLES happen! Boston Charles Regatta

A quick summary about Charles Regatta in Boston MA. Since its inception in 1965 the Head of the Charles Regatta has attracted hundreds of thousands of rowers to the banks of the Charles River in October every year. It's important for athletes and spectators to make sure they have all the proper information to navigate on this event since it runs on the Charles River. This year they are celebrating 50 Years, WOW! Congrats guys!!!

It's where you want to be as an spectator and watch such excitement as well its therapeutic for me. Sun, water, competition, breezy breeze and best of all scenery and history about it, Aahhhhh so Good! So pop up your camera and picnic basket to enjoy this two days. Color Nails, Autumn Makeup, SPF, Sunglasses and comfy cloths and sneakers for Him (Nike) and Me (Puma). What's not to love about this month of October, supporting/spectator, loving, enjoying moments/things in life makes me appreciate life in general to succeed. My Best wishes to the moments/things that makes you HAPPY!  

My Pink Clarisonic Mia

Ever wonder why a girl needs more beauty tools. Ya tools... I have one here for you its the Clarisonic Mia which I did think it over and over to purchase it. It took a while to get it, its one of those items that was put on the wish list. And see if anyone is generous to give it as a gift. My list was always big and always something else beat the Clarisonic. This Pink Clarisonic Mia has history (chuckles). So let me tell you if it works, do I have a like or dislike relationship with it???

The Good: it helps to exfoliate your skin getting rid of those pores fill with dirt/makeup. Its a great way to include a couple of times during the week. It really leaves your skin more smooth since it deep exfoliate. And the good news as well they have different kinds of head brushes for your skin. Example: Sensitive, Acne Cleansing, Deep Pore Cleansing, Normal, and Delicate.... lots of variety to target you skin. Lots of good news right?

The Dislike: oh its pricey and you over think it if really works or does what it says. Is it worth all the hype? The bad reviews that on some people it doesn't work "decision".

Mines I got it like a year ago did some extra hours at work and that made me treat myself and do love it. I started using it every other day since  I have sensitive skin. Now I use it once a week also my skin has clear and I find it does removes oil, makeup build in your pores plus it leaves it smooth like a babies butt. It's a win beauty tool. P.S. My Mia Clarisonic I stain it by accident :/. Ohhh well life goes on.

But if you don't have all those $ a good balm from The Body Shop damp with a hot muslin cloth and an exfoliate scrub for the mean time till the Clarisonic Mia makes it or pray because miracles happen everyday.

Rimmel Salon Pro Nail Polishes

Some of the beauty items I get away is buying and reviewing new products for you guys. Rimmel Salon Pro is no exception, excited about nail polishes??  and more when you come across a good product. From packaging  to chic glass bottle crown logo on the top of the topper, shades calling your name. Gorgeous shades and the applicators thick making a couple of wipes an easy Mani on your nails.

 

Lasting for as long as a week even when doing cleaning around the house. The nail polish is still in place, a few chips there and here but nothing to fuss about it. Formula is like a gel-like with a glossy-shine drying it faster then regular nail polish I find. On some shades you do need more than Two coats for a nice color shade.

As for the moment I am wearing RED AWARD: a deep berry fall color. As for HIP HIP: a pink coral leaf announcing fall is here. BEIGE BABE: classic, crispy, clean look nail polish on your nails.

Sugar Fresh Lip Treatment

Suga, Suga when we read on a label sugar, sweetness comes to mind. And Sugar Fresh has it cover it's lightly taste of sugar to treat your lips, not too thick or messy-oily. A lip treatment  that melts hydrating your lips on the instant giving that rich moisture with a soft feeling of baby lips.

It soothes great in the winter time giving that nourishing and protection to your lips with SPF 15. Because you do not want looking with dry, chappy, flaky lips or applying lipstick without a lip balm.

Glides easily lasting for a couple of hours. Love that is based of sugar + SPF 15, oils. Comes in a variety of colors with a little taste of fruity. Its nice to indulge in a Great hydrated Lip Balm.

Rimmel Match Perfection

Having perfection skin is almost impossible the good thing is we have Help and lots of helpers. Trying to disappearing the pigmentation, scares, sleep or for couples of hours. Rimmel Match Perfection 2 in 1 concealer and Highlighter is a match. Comes in a soft squeeze tube with a brush, hygienic in a way but I like most to use my fingers to warm and blend the product.

So it says 2  in 1 Concealer and Highlighter, concealer is great but the highlighter is not that highlighter to say like a highlight. It does leave a nice dewy sheer glow with a soft creamy matte finish. Does stay in place for a 2 in 1 every day makeup wear. Not a lot of shades though but if you happen to find the right one you are good then.

Affordable, travel size great if you have pigmentation scars. With concealers they either work on you or not...

My Owl Lip Balm

As you guys know that sometimes we get suck into cuteness packaging. How not to say NO to this little cute Owl-Balm. Yes! This little guy has all the "check mark". A lip balm that hydrates your lips with a minty flavor leaving a tingly feeling. Its not to thick or sticky it just melts and moisturize on your lips. Great to leave it by your night stand to dab it with your fingers as you go to bed and as well  gorgeous on display especially on this season for Fall.


Mines I got it at Forever21 - $4.80   It comes in Minty, Watermelon, Coconut flavor. So far just I've just try the minty balm. Love owls! So on that note let me know if you have try them? Or if you have ever bought something just because of the packaging? Much love this season 🍂🍁.

Cotton Buds

You must be saying what? Really Cotton Buds? Does fall into the category of Beauty because its use daily on our Beauty regime. Its one of the best helpers with an odd-makeup mistake or cleaning up the mess on a makeup product.

Fresh, new, crispy clean white cotton buds are most of the time essentials as a beauty tool.

From cleaning your ears which feels so good to do at least for me. Also I use them a lot of times when I'm applying mascara and a smudge happens leaving your eyes like panda. That's when this guys come handy. And wait their is more use what about when you are wearing a Red Lipstick and has glide a bit outside of the lips Yup! these cotton buds come handy again. Oohhh no more red lining on your skin or redskin next to your lips.

It works so well on Nail Polish smudge and outside of those off the nails or messy nail corners with nail Polish. I have three different kinds these just came on my local Walgreen's round, pointed and flat cotton Dual Tip Applicators for an easy clean up.

Black eye liner perfection for erasing those over done eye smudges.

Also when having a acne spot its not the most hygienic way to use reused makeup brushes or using your fingers tips. Cotton Buds are more clean just a dab will help that area that needs treated and safe of germs. Its so useful, affordable plus a beauty tool that I use and find that we get along in many ways.

My Reachable Blistex

Rambling on my beauty stash drawers trying to find my Lip Balms. After wondering around I was where are they so my second tip was my husband night bed stand and yes my Lip Balms were there from a "sneaky grab" to getting lost and now found (Chuckles). Sharing is caring right? The excuse was I don't know which I like more. But after trying and talking about being the best for dry winter days and dry lips the Blistex is the farest from the most Lip Balm which I tend to reach more.

It come in a blue pot and on a soft tube as well scented like a herby, earthy-minty smell with a tinley feeling that really works on your dry chap lips as it melts hydrating like no Lip Balm ever in my world so far. None greasy or sticky its a melting balm for your lips. 

Affordable, lovable everyone can have it. Sharing is Caring!!! Intense moisture for your lips, after a few minutes they look so hydrated and healthier and most of all soft.

My favorite it does the job plus its hard to find the right Lip Balm that works on your lips and  that as well you like and enjoy. Hope you give it a try and tell me what you think?

Christmas is just around the corner what way to get this Gorgeous Lipsticks from The Body Shop. Berry tones are here as well Bold Red and Hot deep Pink...This gorgeous in 201 Red Hot Raspberry Lipstick is just one of a kind with this color. Perfect for the fall....Raspberry Red. But at the same time not to much as deep in full intense shade just a glide on your lips or dabbing it will create that hydrate berry, juicy color look.

 

Colour Crush Lipstick in 03 Pink Charming it's a sheen shade on the pinkie icy color. An enlighten color to brighten your lips at the same time moisturizing your lips. Victoria Secret Lipstick in Whisper

Peach pink nude with a settleness of shimmer dust is Victoria Secret Lipstick in Whisper Shhhhhh. What? just Whisper (chuckles). Nice combination of light color nude. Just melts like a secret dust of sparkle on your lips this is what the models of Victoria Secret wear on the runway for their Fashion Show. Yaaay I get to wear it too I'm such a VS model "jk". It's beautiful that misery warm shade of nude that gives you a natural lip model look. Love the name as well the packaging black slick box and a hint of pink. No wonder I am doing a review on this Lipstick because it has capture my heart especially my Lips. Pair it with a pink or orange or a matte nude and splash it with lip gloss.

Every year they come with a different design and as well the packaging. The gossip is that VS will discontinue their makeup line which is a bummer. We will just have to see or let me know if you know anything.

Revlon Lipstick in Rich Girl + Lovers Coral + Pink Cognito

As we know we love a good affordable formula color Lipstick. Revlon most of the time gets it right for the occasion. Plus the colors never gets old even if they came in 2013 or whatever era. From Red, Coral and Pink we get to choose ladies Aaaand it will not brake our wallets. 

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick In Rich Girl is a Gorgeous Red but that doesn't say look at me or screaming Red. It's a Red color to start if you are afraid of using Red or not sure wearing Red. A medium tone combination of Corals, Mavey Red not in your face Lipstick. Sheerness, Lustrous Butter glide..... with Revlon Rich Girl a flattering warm Red on your Lips. Perfect for an evening out or if you want to wear it during the day.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Pink Cognito - Love the beige pink it has with a slightly of shimmer. Could pass on the nudes with a colorless to be wanted. Its a very subtle neutral pinkish creamy texture. Remember its sheer perfect to wear with a nude matte Lipstick.

Perfect Shimmer

Shimmer, shimmer, shimmer I believe everyone likes a little sparkle of shimmer especially on our eyelids. OoOhh ya! A dab or a slightly application or maybe some shimmer to Sparkle up. MAC Pigment in Tan gives you that shimmer with a settleness of classic, luxury perfect shade for a perfect natural glow. Earthy Tan, Bronzy, undertone in Rose-gold eye shadow pigment. Its all me you guys know....

Loose Pigment can be apply with your fingers which I prefer,  as well patting it or with a flat brush. If loose pigment falls on your face it can be brush with a  clean fluffy brush. Love how it gives you a natural earthy tone shade with a kick of shimmer to make you more alive.
