When you pump it turns into a foam which is just the right amount of product for your face. The smell is like a minty green herbal spa scent, you can smell it when applying it but does not linger after rinse. Leaves you for about a minute with a tingly feeling, perfect to wake you up in the morning. Does not leave your skin dry.
