A Bit of Sparkle

New Year around the corner and we need a little bit of glitter to sparkle for the New Year 2015! Wow! it's SO cray about 2014 were did it go? But its time to shine and bring some sparkle so lets dazzle with beauty bits on the list. Feels special to splash on some glitter/shimmer, I've always like some shimmer of sparkle in makeup, nails, dresses or shoes well we can say I do love anything that sparkles (chuckles).

As we know it get a little bit fussy to get those glitter nails to remove. Or to much you will look like a glitter  ball ( hey its okay ) the point is you go and rock it. If not when can you get away with glitter?! So I got something subtle for the eyes,cheeks and nails to start a New Year! (wink).


I have a few options for the eyes -  MAC pigment in Tan  perfect bronzy tan that  you can use a wet brush to intense the color or patten with your fingers. NYX roll on Shimmer in Almond lightly micro glitter that can be roll over the eye-lid or patten as well. Wet n Wild Brass Laiton  soft micro gold glitter, the feel is with a mild wax that will not fall and will stay in place. Glow by TopShop  Polished gorgeous high lighter for the cheek bone. Dab on with the finger for a better application plus it looks beautiful on the light/photos. Ciate - Tinsel Town micro rose gold glitter with clear top coat you get a mix of colors with it Love! Essie Rock at the Top soft gold glitter with different sizes like confetti base with a clear top coat mix. Oh glitter nails!! Essie Summit of Style same as Rock at the Top just with copper tan color glitter. Essie Penny Talk beautiful rose gold with green silver under tones and a kick of pink that makes it special. Browsing through the internet I came across Micheal Todd True Organic Pink Grapefruit Energizing Body Lotion. This energizing lotion smells amazing but not over-powering of grapefruit. It has a slightly honey-kick to its mix with grapefruit. Right weight and texture refreshing on your skin. Best when you use after shower on your skin feels soft, hydrated with a fruity smell. I don't know about the firming but definitely smooths that for sure I see it. Its a great body lotion if you like fruity scent.

Victoria Secret Bombshell Body Lotion - makes you feel special, girly, supermodel. Tip: we all are made beautiful models of God creation. It's blend of fragrance scent in the lotion with purple passion fruit, shangri-la yellow peony and vanilla orchid. Love it! plus its a travel size and Yes we are Bombshells. amazing body lotion.

For the past year I have been using Origins that includes face-cleansers, masks, moisturizers. Slowly but surely this brand has capture my heart. Nars - My Christmas Gift

Christmas around the corner, beauty deals launches, special packages of beauty palettes that only comes around this time of the year. From gifts to stock fillers and a wide range from the Beauty Makeup gifts. My first Nar's Lip Pencils that I've wanted to try this year but couldn't justify for a Lip Pencil Paying $25 for each. So when Nar's brought their Digital World Lip Pencil Coffet my eyes just went bigger.  Retails for $49 a $96 value at Sephora. Such a gorgeous Palette, can we just stare at the packaging.......

 Great value for money and Lip colors are amazing. What else can you want? So I decided to treat my self to this palette and I'm SO happy. Of course with the help of Sephora because they send me a $20 reward for this Christmas isn't that nice/cool. That justifies it once more to get it plus each of them came to $6 A Nars Lip Pencil?! can't be any happier than that. This just made my day and I am so excited to be wearing my Nar's Lip Pencils.

 I can hear the jingles ringing, since it has Christmas one day closer, Oh ya! I will definitely will be going for the Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella to make it count.

Aveeno Skin Brightening Daily Scrub

Around this time of year we need a little face scrub, dry skin having scales like a fish ( JK ). It's time for a little scrub, scrub. Aveeno Skin Brightening Daily Scrub is amazing, gentle in exfoliating on your face skin. Light weight, liquidity with a milky color. Also it has micro beads that doesn't feel harsh while you are exfoliating your skin.

Great for sensitive, acne prone skin, you will love it. Leaves your skin soft and hydrated without stripping away your skin. Amazing for a daily exfoliate scrub.

  Plus it's Oil Free and leaves your skin smooth, bright, and toned. A dime size is all you need  for your entire face. Tip: remove it with a warm/hot damp muslin cloth, it feels great! Aaaaaaa! Whats your favorite face scrub? 

The Eyelash Curler

Don't know when I started to curl my eyelashes but I have been curling my eyelashes for a quite a few years. I remember watching an add on TV about curling your eyelashes and seeing the results as as if you has fake eyelashes. Couldn't think the fact that I would love an eye-curler we were so opposite like water and oil. Every time I would pinch/bite my eye lash-eyelid it would make me cry because I would snap a little piece of my eyelids. Ouch!

After a few years practicing and being more gentle and not scare I am a Pro. Yay! Got  hooked up and love how my eyelashes look long, curled, pointing up to the sky. My current eyelash curler is from Cleanlogic.

Love it got it at TJMax but the one that is on my wish list is the Shu Uemura. Have heard so much good things about it especially what does to your eyelashes. I will just have to wait and see, right? FYI: I want a rose gold is that too much to ask??

Revive - Makeup Blending Applicator

This is my third Makeup Blender Applicator which is in a different brand. I guess to justify in buying the most hype which is the beauty blender. But I can't justify spending for $20 for a makeup sponge.

I went to pick up a note book that I need for 2015 at T J Max browsing through the aisle since I love all their unique items they carry since they have a beauty department. Found this gorgeous pink makeup sponge blender that looks exactly like the Beauty Blender. It is just a little bit semi-hard  but okay.... to start, wet the sponge and squeeze all the water. Then I would use Foundation/Liquid or BB Creams on the sponge. I dab it on my face till when I want to achieve the look or a natural makeup look. Leaves my skin flawless, not caky when using the Revive Makeup Sponge.  

If you are in a budget I would recommend this one plus its affordable. FYI: The Beauty Blender is still on my wish list (chuckles). As for now this will do its job because it does work and I like it. Plus the pink color sponge makes it more like-able.

Soap & Glory - The Righteous Body Butter

Oh Soap & Glory you will Always have a place in my heart. Scent is so unique and relaxing but at the same time it makes you feel pampered. Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter Body Moisture is amazing what other scent can you wish for? Would love if they can come out with a Perfume with this scent that would be the Bomb!

Its Ingredients with Shea Butter, Aloe Vera, Rose Hip Oil and Vitamin E all this ingredients make your skin soft, smooth leaving it hydrated for a couple of hours. Your skin is left in a delicately fragrance that when you give a kiss or a hug to your loves ones they will be what are you wearing? and you will be like Soap & Glory and they will be what is that? Ha? Ya Soap & Glory is not that well known in the USA because we do not have a full range of products by them. I wish we could get makeup that would be great. Have heard so much good things about it. But until then I am happy with the skin care.  I have been enjoying it either a cream or lotion or body scrub. Makes me feel in a good mood when I am having a bad day its a "pick me up" by Soap & Glory as it makes me smile.

First of all let me tell ya, that my LOVE for Tarte is forever. Its brand is so unique with beauty products as well with the packaging. I recently discover Tarte,  I know I know my first purchase was the butter lipsticks which made me more intrigue about the wide range of Tarte. Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Powder Foundation was on my wish list for a while and at last I got it. Yay! I am so excited especially that is says full coverage and lightweight plus it has a net where the powder comes out using the Airbuki Foundation Brush. Every girl makeup wish to play with it "meaning" so beautiful on being part of your makeup collection.

A powder foundation that provides flawless coverage that melts with your skin without leaving your skin dry or caky. It balancing formula that creates a natural-look finish on your skin feels like you have a new layer of fresh skin. How to use your Airbuki Foundation Brush: buff the powder into the skin with soft circular motions.

If you are not a powder gal you gonna love this. It is just amazing! does what you would like it to do. This makes my day when I am in the mood for a natural light weight coverage but at the same time you look in full coverage. Oh Ya!

Winter time around the corner dry air, cold maybe freezing temperature and chappy, flaky lips. Oh no its one of those season when you get to have a good Lip Scrub next to you. Lush Mint Julips Lip Scrub is an absolutely amazing, exfoliates, scrubs that takes away all those dry flakes on your lips.

Rinse or with a damp muslin cloth remove the sugar scrub. It's mixture of sugar, oils, mint w/chocolate Mmm dab it on your finger and scrub it on your lips. You won't have a lot because it turns to fine sugar and with a hint of oil in it makes it into a nice scrub texture. So when I read, what were the ingredients? mint and chocolate I was sold! (chuckles).


I use  this Lip scrub twice a week or when my lips needs it. Travel friendly pot, the only note: you just have to have clean  hands and use the lip scrub gentle. Follow with a lip-balm, after that any lip-stick will glide easily looking beautiful. Feeling you lips looking plumply, soft, fuller and with a fresh breath. Tastes Delish! leaving you with soft chocolaty minty kissable lips. Muaaaah 💋

NYC Nail Polishes

Curious about trying new affordable nail polishes with colors that says Yes, its all you. It's either a win with the formula or a looser one. There is always a one time, two times and sometimes a third time the charm when trying beauty products.

NYC "New York Color"  in Black Lace Creme beautiful black with green undertones this formula is wonderful. Tips: to make it last for a few more days top it with a clear white coat.

NYC "New York Color" in Wine Bar Gorgeous berry color with purple undertones. Reminding you berries and flowers such a settle, deep nail polish. Makes you stare at your nails all day long. Plus you won't see this color usually with that deep antique look. Not bad to get your hands on a bottle.

So MAC came with their Holiday Collection Makeup. Nothing to get you in the Spirit of Holiday's that it is just around the corner. Remember that with any primer a little goes a long way.

Would say, Amazing filling those pores leaving it with a soft silky texture on your skin. Looks like a light beige color but when you apply it turns into this fine primer with a luxury feeling. Ahhh what's not to love about this product?

MAC Objects of Affection Pink + Rose Pigments + Glitter

The guilty pleasure of the season in the MAC Glowing Antique Rouge of Pink + Rose. The kit is dressed up in a glittered grayish box adored with Cameo Medallion. The shades that includes are Whisper Pink, Tan Rose, Reiyning Riches, Heritage Rouge.

This year glitter takes these Holiday Season to Sparkle through out 2015. If you don't mind then you are a dust of glitter to sparkle....

Whisper Pink: is a soft pink with a essence of pearl

Love pigments, a new range of Pinkish colors for me. Yay, since Tan is one of my all time favorite we go back (Chuckles).
